Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa Keeps Winning!
One of the best compliments is getting recognized and consequently rewarded for your hard work and diligence. Luxury travel is a very competitive business with so many resorts and hotels outdoing each other to indulge their guests the best way possible; competition on a global level and that’s why the World Travel Awards have been in place for twenty three years – to acknowledge, award and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry.
The World Travel Awards dubbed The Africa and Indian Ocean Gala took place on 9 April 2016 at the Diamonds La Gemma dell’Est resort in Zanzibar, Tanzania with hundreds of who is who in the hospitality industry in attendance!

The event saw Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa win Uganda’s Leading Hotel suite with its very luxurious Presidential Suite for three consecutive years; 2014, 2015 and 2016!
Specially designed for the guests looking for solitude and space, the Presidential Suite is situated on the penthouse level of the main building guaranteeing an impressive view of Lake Victoria and the golf course.
The interiors have a modern Italian style with a subtle fusion of African and Arabian touch. A guest staying at Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa’s Presidential Suite enjoys an exclusive stay fully equipped with a jacuzzi, kitchenette, a capacious living room and a furnished balcony with a view to die for. And if they please, they can have a complimentary dining within the suite! This is the Presidential Suite that keeps winning.

Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa is the most ideal place to go to for that world away from the city experience yet it’s only 15 kilometers away from Kampala City centre and 30 kilometres from Entebbe International Airport.

I have very fond memories from the few times I’ve visited Lake Victoria Serena Resort and Spa shared here and here; it’s only courteous to give credit where it’s due. The place is beautiful!
Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa is designed to imitate a pastel-shaped Italian hillside village surrounded by terraced rose gardens and its own marina.
Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa boasts of a 9-hole (soon to be 18-hole) golf course, a Club House and a Golfing Boutique. It offers ultimate fusion of natural beauty and professional challenge.

With more outdoor activities such as birding tours, lake cruises and sun-downers, tennis courts and volleyball courts; a weekend at Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa would definitely do you good.

Have you had an interesting #SerenaExperience lately? Would you care to share with me in the comments? Let’s share notes 🙂
This is a good review and the photography is top class.
ooh I have been to Victoria Serena before and too have very fond memories of that place though I didn’t share on any blog.
This place is BEAUTIFUL.
Thank you Joel, I agree. The place is paradise tucked away. Please please, share your #serenaexperience!
I can’t wait to read them.
My mother and I were recently at the Maisha spa at Lake Victoria Serena golf resort and spa. We were so wonderfully pampered that leaving brought tears to our eyes. It is a real slice of heaven.
Thank you Kylie!
I once had a Hot Stone massage at the Maisha Spa, it was completely new and serious indulgence. True #SerenaExperience at its best!
Oh I enjoyed the juice too 🙂
Lake Victoria Serena is one of the most serene and peaceful Serena properties I have been too. I hold fond memories of spending two nights there and enjoying their Maisha health club facility as well as the picturesque gardens. The service is also top notch and that is why winning awards is not really a surprise. Congratulations once again to the Serena family.
Thank you Allan for sharing your experience. The service is truly undeniable! I will never forget that ‘all you can eat’ breakfast 😀
Someone should just get me a room in that and i live there, i never want to leave. It is such a calming and serene place to go to.
Hahaha Evelyn, my exact sentiments. Thank you for sharing.
I attended a wedding there once…very picturesque. I dream of one day owning one of those bungalows in the estate below it. *checks piggy bank…one day.
Ahahaha our dreams are valid Roland, aren’t they?
You should stay one night or two, it’s something else…
I will, but it might dent my bungalow dreams. Anyway, I’m sure I’ll figure out how to have my cake and eat it one of these days
I will help you cut it 🙂
Very well done review. The place is spectacular.
Thank you Tom.
